Hello Friend!

My first job in high school job was at Hallmark (I've always loved paper), but I never once bought a card. The cards were too generic, and didn't represent me. So I ended up drawing my own cards—often food puns, based on the things I love to eat (and cook!)

Fast forward 25+ years later, and I'm still making cards. My goal is to represent an Asian American voice not often heard, especially in the stationery world. Customers often tell me they feel seen; they feel proud to be Asian because they identify themselves in the art, and in the food and the culture behind it.

My ultimate goal is resonance: your friend laughing over a sushi pun birthday card, your kids proud to show off their backpack with a bubble tea pin—even your co-worker's curiosity over the sriracha sticker on your laptop. These are moments of priceless representation and bright spots in the everyday, little and big.

Below is a photo of me at age 10, selling handmade cards, signs, and pom pom animals in a 4th grade Marketplace! Like I said... not much has changed!
